The Deal

In January 2020, Michael assisted his good friends Richard and Brittney with closing on the most gorgeous 1.1 acre lot in all of Healdsburg, CA, the future site of their wonderful dream home!

Over the span of eleven months, it was an absolute pleasure working with Richard, and having a front-row seat watching his wizardry in figuring out and executing all the nuts and bolts of vacant land acquisition.

Major milestones included:

1) Wet weather ground testing;

2) Pre-perc inspection;

3) Perc inspection and re-inspections;

4) Perc data report (submission by civil engineer, coordination with County, and approval);

5) Waiver for a non-standard system under the clay soil cap that was identified.

Due to various delays as a result of weather, permitting issues, and civil engineering inspections, we had to negotiate three time extensions!

We closed on January 15, 2020, then we were able to enjoy a wonderful night out in San Francisco.

From the commission proceeds of this deal, MH Real Estate Company made a donation to The Bee Conservancy.

Richard, it was an absolute honor and pleasure to analyze and strategize with you sir -- you have a brilliant business mind that comes second only to your unbelievable work ethic and determination to make your dreams come true. You inspire me, and I'm beyond grateful to have gone on this journey with you.

Brittney, I cannot wait to see your design vision come true. I'll be your Navarro-in-Daytona-pyramid-topper every step of the way 🙆🏻‍♂️, and you can count on me to help however I can.
