Ken joined MH Real Estate Company in March 2019 after 4 years as an agent with a prominent Keller Williams real estate team based in the Tri-Valley.

Born and raised in the East Bay, Ken has always found joy in making people happy. From an early age as a cub scout knocking on doors to collect food for people in need to his adult years as an agent knocking on doors to help people sell real estate, Ken does whatever it takes to help people and make his community a better place. He’s gotten really good at knocking on doors! :)

With over a decade of experience in the restaurant industry, Ken is attuned to the needs of people and takes pride in his ability to make people happy. His restaurant experience as a lead server has given him the ability to handle tough situations under stressful conditions. When he encounters any setbacks or issues in real estate, he takes pride in his ability to stay calm and focus on what needs to get done to ensure the best possible outcomes for his clients.

Ken was fortunate to have launched his real estate career with an established Tri-Valley team, where he quickly became a key contributor and producer. Closing nearly 20 transactions, his primary strength was working with buyers, particularly first-time home buyers, educating them from start to finish on the entire process and working tirelessly to help them find their dream homes. His most memorable client, a recently retired and divorced woman, credits Ken with being able to “get back on [her] feet again and get back to being happy.” She attributes his patience, responsiveness and solid advice as reasons she chose to work with him.

Ken looks back and recalls having to constantly apply strategic negotiation tactics to create the best outcomes for the clients he was fortunate to serve. One highlight was getting the winning bid on a home with multiple offers for a highly desired property, only to later discover significant issues in his client’s inspection process. Ken stayed calm and, coordinating with the appropriate inspectors and engineers, was able to negotiate a $75,000 price reduction to cover repair costs. His clients were ecstatic! Years later, they are still in love with their home.

The most important thing about real estate that Ken has learned is that it’s all about people we are fortunate enough to serve, and that we don’t accomplish our goals unless we help them accomplish theirs. In the highly competitive markets of the East Bay, where Ken has the most experience, clients are easily discouraged from losing out on their bids. By being there for his clients, staying positive, and trusting in his process, Ken provides his clients with the tools and approach necessary to focus on finding the home of their dreams.

Ken’s goal in joining MH Real Estate Company is to broaden his impact and increase his opportunities to better serve real estate clients. To contribute and give back to those that trust him with such a crucial time in their lives is a privilege that he cherishes, and he’s going to work hard to honor this privilege and help as many people as possible achieve their real estate goals.
